Dhamar: Mohammed Al-Alawi, Head of the Planning, Development, and Finance Committee of the Local Council in Wusab Al-Safil district and Chairman of the Agricultural Cooperative Association, inspected the progress of the Al-Sha'awir Al-Ali road paving project. The project, with a budget of 3.5 million riyals, is being executed through a community initiative by local residents.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Alawi reviewed the stone paving work progress, which includes paving a 300-meter stretch and installing rainwater drainage systems. He acknowledged the community's active involvement in maintaining and developing infrastructure, which supports official efforts to ease citizens' movement in mountainous areas.
Al-Alawi emphasized the success of community initiatives as a foundation for sustainable development. He stated that this visit is part of continuous support for local efforts to improve services and open roads in remote areas, while also addressing challenges with available resources.
The project execution supervisor, Bashar Al-Sha'awri, underscored the project's importance in reducing citizens' hardships and enhancing connectivity to neighboring villages.
