Amran: Governor of Amran Dr. Faisal Ja'man, alongside Head of the Martyrs' Families Care Authority Taha Garan, conducted an inspection of the remedial lessons program designed for the sons of martyrs and missing persons. These students are striving for university scholarships for the year 1448 AH. The program is facilitated by the Authority through its General Administration of Educational Care.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Ja'man, along with Director of the Martyrs' Families Care Authority branch in the province, Ibrahim Al-Nuno, and Educational Care Officer Amin Tamah, assessed the educational programs and the mechanism for delivering these remedial lessons. The initiative aims to enhance students' academic performance.
During the visit, Governor Ja'man highlighted the significance of educational qualification programs and remedial lessons in fostering students' abilities, ultimately preparing a knowledgeable generation capable of pursuing university studies with confidence and competence. He reiterated that education is a cornerstone of societal development and affirmed the province's leadership commitment to supporting educational and training initiatives targeting the sons of martyrs and missing persons, in recognition of their families' sacrifices for the homeland.
The governor encouraged students to diligently engage with the lessons, emphasizing the importance of academic achievement to succeed in admission exams and secure enrollment in various university disciplines.
Taha Garan, Head of the Martyrs' Families Care Authority, noted that these lessons are part of the educational care programs adopted by the Authority to enable the sons of martyrs and missing persons to compete for free university scholarships. The program aims to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in university admission tests across both public and private institutions.
He further explained that the Authority prioritizes education as a crucial aspect of comprehensive care for the families of martyrs, striving to provide diverse educational support and care to develop a scientifically and knowledge-based qualified generation.
The Director of the Authority's branch and the Educational Care Officer revealed that the one-month program targets 74 students from the sons of martyrs and missing persons in Amran, Al-Mahwit, Sa'ada, Al-Jawf, and Hajjah governorates, who are competing for free scholarships in public and private universities.
