Al-khabt: Al-Khabt district in Mahweet governorate on Wednesday held a closing ceremony for its summer courses and activities under the slogan 'Knowledge and Jihad.' The event was organized by the local authority and public mobilization committee in the district and attended by provincial officials and community leaders.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the ceremony, Governorate Mobilization Official Ismail Sharaf al-Din stressed the importance of summer programs in developing students' skills and expanding their knowledge, particularly in religious education and beneficial sciences. He highlighted that the summer activities help strengthen Islamic identity, reinforce moral values, and support the development of youth talents and abilities, contributing to the preparation of an aware and educated generation.

Sharaf al-Din praised the efforts of teachers, organizers, and contributors involved in the success of the summer programs, noting the strong student participation this year. For his part, al-Khabt District Director Ali Qatina emphasized the role of summer courses in building an educated generation capable of contributing to society and national development. He added that this year's activities included cultural, educational, and awareness programs aimed at protecting youth from harmful ideas and strengthening their connection to religious and national values.

Local authorities affirmed their continued support for youth-focused educational and developmental programs in the district.
