Inspection of Summer Courses and Commemoration of Tanomah Massacre Anniversary in Hajjah

Hajjah: The Director of Haradh District in Hajjah Governorate, Hussein Hairan, inspected on Wednesday the summer courses in IDP camps in Abs District. He reviewed the progress of the educational process and the level of implementation of summer activities at Al-Shaheed Al-Qa'id School in Al-Qaflah camp, Imam Zaid School in Al-Jabari camp, and Al-Shaheed Khaled Hairan School in Al-Kawziyah camp.

According to Yemen News Agency, Hairan listened to students presenting samples of their talents and creativity, as well as what they have learned in Tajweed and proper recitation of the Holy Qur'an using the Yemeni method. Additionally, Ahmed Al-Nahari, the education sector official in Haradh District, provided a briefing on enrollment levels, which reached 4,261 male and female students distributed across 46 schools, staffed by 195 male and female teachers.

During the visit, the district director praised the community's engagement with the summer courses and the eagerness of students to make good use of the school holiday by developing their knowledge, intellectual abilities, refining their talents, and drawing guidance from faith.

In the same context, Al-Shaheed Abu Hadi Ajjar School in Abs District organized a cultural evening marking the anniversary of the Tanomah massacre, attended by the Haradh District Director and a number of local and social figures. Speakers described the massacre committed by the Saudi regime against Yemeni pilgrims, which claimed the lives of more than 3,000 pilgrims, as one of the most heinous crimes against humanity. They stressed that the crimes committed by the Saudi regime against Yemenis are an extension of the Tanomah massacre, affirming that such crimes will not lapse with time and that the perpetrators will be held accountable.

Meanwhile, Martyr Al-Minbar School in Hajar area of Al-Mahabsha District organized a speech event on the 106th anniversary of the Tanomah massacre and in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Speakers condemned the series of crimes committed by the Saudi regime against Yemenis, from the Tanomah massacre to ongoing crimes today, emphasizing that those responsible will be brought to justice. They also denounced the continued crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the oppressed Palestinian people, stressing the importance of steadfastness in supporting the oppressed and the marginalized.
