Mabyan: A team from the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in Hajjah Governorate inspected the progress of the Al-Shawmari Road opening project in the Bani Akab sub-district of Mabyan District.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project involves leveling the path, removing obstacles, and clearing landslide points through a community initiative. This initiative is supported by the unit and the local authority at a cost of 2 million and 679 thousand riyals, with a community contribution of 1 million and 114 thousand riyals.
During the visit, the representative of the Central Interventions Unit in the governorate, Abdulwahab Sinan, emphasized the project's importance. He highlighted its role in connecting the region to its surroundings, supporting agricultural and service activities, facilitating citizen mobility, and ensuring the delivery of basic services.
Sinan also appreciated the community's interaction in supporting the state's efforts in developmental work.
