Mahwit: The tribes of Malhan District in Mahwit Governorate announced on Tuesday their full readiness to confront any plans or conspiracies that may threaten the security and stability of the homeland. During a large tribal rally in which participants raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, the people of Malhan reaffirmed their steadfast position in support of the Palestinian people in confronting the occupation, their commitment to resistance as a strategic choice to defend land, dignity, and their rejection of any foreign guardianship or interference in internal affairs.
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants stressed the importance of national unity and high preparedness to protect the country and its resources, and to confront any schemes aimed at destabilizing security and stability. They explained that this large gathering represents a renewed pledge and a continuation of the legitimate struggle until full sovereignty is restored over every inch of national soil.
They also noted that the anniversary of November 30 stands as a living testament to the resilience and sacrifices of Yemenis in confronting colonialism, emphasizing that this occasion serves as a foundation for strengthening steadfastness in supporting the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. The participants highlighted that commemorating this anniversary sends a message to the world that the Yemeni people remain committed to their national and pan-Arab principles, and that the path of defending freedom and dignity will continue until the goals of full liberation are achieved.
Malhan tribes called for fostering national awareness and instilling the values of liberation and independence in future generations, affirming that all forms of occupation will eventually end as long as the people's will remains strong and their pursuit of liberation unwavering, and that Yemen has always been a graveyard for invaders throughout history.
A statement issued at the tribal rally reaffirmed carrying the banner of struggle as did forefathers and supporters in the past, inspired by values rooted in faith and identity. The statement stressed continued vigilance and full readiness to confront threats on the military, security, and social levels. It emphasized that the Yemeni people will not retreat from their just positions in supporting the Palestinian, Lebanese peoples and other oppressed nations, expressing belief that oppressive entities will eventually come to an end.
The statement congratulated the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the President of the Supreme Political Council, and the Yemeni people on the anniversary of the expulsion of British colonial rule after 128 years, noting that this historic event is a reminder of the sacrifices of martyrs who brought down an empire once described as one on which 'the sun never sets.'
The statement affirmed that the fate of all tyrannical powers-foremost among them the American, British, and Israeli-along with their regional proxies, is eventual disappearance, asserting that victory is the right of peoples when they unite, act with strong will and reliance on God. It concluded that the independence anniversary stands as a historical lesson exposing those who colluded with colonial forces and facilitated the occupation, and emphasized that Yemen will remain unconquerable to aggressors.
