Baghdad: Iraq's oil exports during the first ten months of this year exceeded one billion barrels. Statistics issued by the Iraqi State Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) on Wednesday revealed that total Iraqi oil exports during this period reached 1,029,213,454 barrels, averaging approximately 102,921,345 barrels per month and 3,430,000 barrels per day.
According to Yemen News Agency, exports from the Basra and central oil fields via Basra ports totaled 1,005,380,183 barrels. The report also indicated that oil exports from the modern Kirkuk storage facility to Jordan during the same period amounted to 3,138,271 barrels. Exports from the Kurdistan Region, after a hiatus of more than three years, reached 5,834,864 barrels.
The company noted that the financial revenues from exports for eight months, starting from March until the current November, amounted to 55 billion, 852 million, 346 thousand and 92 US dollars.
