Japanese Stocks Decline at End of Morning Trading

Tokyo: Japanese stock indices declined, today Monday, at the end of the morning trading session on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. According to Yemen News Agency, the benchmark Nikkei index, consisting of 225 stocks, fell by 566.71 points, equivalent to 1.00 percent, to reach 56357.40 points at the end of the morning session. The broader Topix index also lost 18.07 points, or 0.48 percent, to settle at 3721.78 points.
