Sana'a: The Jawf province branch of the Public Telecommunications Corporation organized a training workshop on Sunday for summer school activity teachers, focusing on technological and cyber awareness.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop aimed to enhance awareness of how to use information technology effectively in the educational process, particularly among students. This initiative is part of the efforts by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research and the Supreme Committee for Summer Activities, to develop the educational process and raise the level of academic achievement by integrating modern technologies into educational activities.
At the opening of the workshop, the Director of Public Mobilization, Jarallah Shamaa, emphasized the importance of developing technological awareness among teachers and students to keep pace with digital transformations. He noted that summer programs provide a suitable environment for discovering talent. Engineer Abdullah Thawaba, the director of the branch of the General Telecommunications Corporation, explained that these workshops and the launch are part of an integrated plan to spread digital culture and promote the safe and responsible use of modern technologies.
