Mahweet: Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority, Judge Dr. Marwan al-Mahaqeri, inspected the performance of courts in Mahweet governorate as part of the Authority's plan to monitor judicial work and strengthen discipline.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, al-Mahaqeri met with the Chairman of the Court of Appeal and heads of appellate and primary courts. He reviewed case progress, challenges, and measures to accelerate adjudication and enhance coordination.
He also toured court departments, examined filing and case-management procedures, and stressed the importance of updating administrative mechanisms and activating internal oversight.
Al-Mahaqeri stated that the inspections aim to address challenges, particularly case backlogs, through practical solutions, improve service quality, and build public confidence in the judiciary.
He also met with citizens, listened to complaints, and directed necessary actions, emphasizing that prompt handling of grievances is essential to swift justice.
