Kuwait Hospital Refutes Claims of Security Use for Heart Center’s Top Floor

Sana'a: Kuwait Hospital has firmly denied circulating rumors about the use of the top floor of its heart center for security purposes. The administration of Al-Kuwait University Hospital has confirmed that the newly constructed building is specifically designated for heart-related services, including cardiac catheterization, university cardiac surgery, pediatrics, and neonatology.

According to Yemen News Agency, the hospital administration emphasized that the heart center is both a medical and educational project intended to address the increasing demand for specialized cardiac services. The administration clarified that the allegations circulating on social media are unfounded and are intended to disrupt the center's medical mission and hinder citizens' access to essential services.

The hospital's statement elaborated on the structure of the building, noting that it houses several specialized departments such as clinics, catheterization, operations, cardiac care, wards, pediatrics, and medical education. It also includes the country's first pediatric cardiac catheterization department. The center accommodates more than 200 patients daily from various provinces and boasts a team of consultants and specialists in cardiology and catheterization, along with a skilled nursing and technical staff.
