Large Rally Held in Old Sana’a to Mark Prophet’s Birthday and Support Holy Quran

Sana'a: The Old Sana'a District organized on Thursday a large popular armed rally to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth, express outrage and solidarity in defense of the Holy Quran, review the latest developments and developments on the ground.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants, including Amanat Al-Asimah Human Resources Director Mohammed Ibrahim, District Director Mahdi Arhab, Mobilization Official Rizq Al-Gharara, Secretary-General of the Local Council Mujahid Al-Ghail, along with leaders, sheikhs, social figures, and a large number of citizens, reaffirmed their strong adherence to the Holy Quran, emphasizing its status, sanctity, and the need to uphold and implement its teachings.

The rally attendees affirmed that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reflects the Yemeni people's reverence for and deep connection with the Noble Prophet and the Holy Quran, as well as their commitment to following his righteous path, exemplary life, and struggle in confronting the conspiracies and schemes targeting the nation and its holy sites.

The participants strongly condemned the repeated Israeli-American insults against the Holy Quran, describing the Quran as the most sacred of the holy scriptures, the light that exposes all darkness, and the guidance that saves humanity from misguidance.

They reaffirmed their full support for the armed forces and the consolidation of the 'blockade for blockade' equation, congratulating the success of missile and air strikes targeting Saudi enemy forces and their mercenaries' mobilization efforts. They stressed the continuation of mobilization and preparedness at all levels and the need to maintain a high state of readiness under all circumstances and at all times.

A statement issued at the rally and delivered by Neighborhood Affairs Director Yahya Al-Shaqaqi condemned the continued insults by the criminal Americans and Israelis against the Holy Book of Allah, describing such acts as evidence of their severe religious hostility toward Islam and Muslims and their fear of the Holy Quran, which has exposed their dark history, schemes, and the danger their satanic projects pose to all humanity.

The statement strongly denounced the failure of Muslim scholars, regimes, and peoples to defend and honor the Holy Quran and to follow and adhere to its guidance. It stressed that if Muslim peoples activated an economic boycott of American goods and products from countries supporting insults against the Quran, they could force those countries to stop such acts.

The statement called for broad participation in events and activities marking the Prophet's birthday, urged people to promptly decorate mosques, houses, and streets, as well as participate in charitable initiatives and pay greater attention to the poor and needy across all segments of society.
