Ibb: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research for the Basic Education Sector, Hadi Ammar, alongside Mohammed Dirham Al-Ghazali, the official in charge of the education sector in Ibb Governorate, has inaugurated the second phase of curricular and cultural competitions for the children of martyrs. These activities, taking place at the Martyr of the Qur'an School in Al-Dhahar District, aim to engage both male and female students. Ammar and Al-Ghazali were briefed on the execution mechanisms of these competitions, which focus on curricular and cultural content, as well as the level of student engagement.
According to Yemen News Agency, the officials highlighted the competitions' role in talent discovery, knowledge enhancement, and educational process support. They emphasized the special attention given to the children of martyrs as a tribute to their fathers' sacrifices.
The duo also evaluated the educational progress and discipline at various institutions, including the Martyr President Al-Sammad Secondary School for Outstanding Students and the Al-Saeed Educational Complex. They underscored the importance of regular attendance, academic success, and exam preparation.
Their visit extended to the Educational Aids Production Center in Ibb, where they assessed its departments, production units, and laboratories. They praised the Center's efforts in promoting self-reliance through the use of local materials for illustrative aids.
Furthermore, Ammar and Al-Ghazali reviewed the literature of the Unified Exams Control for seventh and eighth grades, emphasizing the need for developing examination mechanisms to ensure fairness and transparency. The Undersecretary also participated in a portion of the School Management Diploma course, a program designed to equip participants with essential administrative and educational skills for enhancing school performance.
