Dhamar: The Al-Thawra District Mobilization Office in the Capital Secretariat launched on Tuesday the distribution of Eid clothing to 1,000 eligible cases in the district, with contributions from the Ministries of Communications and Information Technology, Local Administration, and Rural Development.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch, Ahmed Al-Mutawakil, Deputy Minister of Communications for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Khaled Al-Madani, First Deputy of the Capital Secretariat, emphasized that distributing Eid clothing to the poor in Al-Thawra District aims to bring joy to the faces of the beneficiaries. He praised the efforts of the Ministries of Communications and Local Administration in providing Eid clothing to needy and poor households in the district, highlighting the importance of collective efforts to meet the needs of the poor, especially under the challenging conditions caused by the ongoing aggression and blockade.
Meanwhile, Aqeel Al-Saqqaf, Director of Al-Thawra District, pointed to official and community efforts to meet the needs of the poor, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan. He stressed the importance of exerting further efforts to ensure the continuity of such services throughout the year, including initiatives to employ youth so they can support themselves and their families.
The district mobilization officer also affirmed the importance of working collectively to identify and address the needs of the poor in the community, praising the initiatives of the Ministries of Communications and Local Administration and Rural Development.
