Sana'a: The first semester final exams for the basic and secondary education levels for the 1447 academic year were launched on Monday across the districts of Sana'a Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Bani Hashish District, the Secretary-General of the Local Council of the Governorate, Abdulqadir Al-Jilani, along with the Director of the District, Rajeh Al-Hanami, Deputy Head of the Education Sector in the Governorate, Mohammed Khamees, and the District Education Official, Sabri Al-Qahm, inaugurated the exams at Al-Furs, Imam Ali, and Al-Najd schools. Al-Jilani praised the efforts of the examination committees and all educational staff, urging continued efforts to ensure the success of the examination process this year.
In New Sana'a District, the First Deputy Governor, Hamid Asim, along with Deputy Governors Jibran Ghubar and Mohammed Ayedh, the Deputy Head of the Education Sector in the Governorate, Amin Al-Jalal, and the District Education Official, Fahd Murshid, launched the exams at Shaheed Al-Qur'an and Al-Nasr schools. They commended the level of preparation, the commitment of students, and teachers to attending and conducting the exams on schedule.
In Bani Matar District, the Deputy Governor for Investment Affairs, Yahya Jamaan, along with the District Director, Yahya Al-Qannous, and Deputy Head of the Education Sector in the Governorate, Sultan Al-Hakimi, inaugurated the exams in several schools across the district. They inspected the progress of exams at Adel Sofan and Martyr Al-Arusi schools in Al-Dhafir, praising the efforts made to provide a suitable environment for students during the exams.
In Sanhan and Bani Bahlul District, Deputy Governor Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, accompanied by the District Director, Ahmed Othman, and the District Education Official, Ahmed Nasser, inaugurated the exams in a number of local schools. Al-Muntasir and Othman emphasized the importance of collective efforts to ensure the success of the educational process, considering it a national responsibility.
In Hamdan District, the Deputy Governor for Education and Youth Affairs and Head of the Education Sector in the Governorate, Talib Dahhan, along with the District Director, Fahd Atiyah, and the District Education Official, Ali Al-Alban, inaugurated the exams in several schools across the district. Dahhan explained that the exams are proceeding according to the plan approved by the Ministry, in line with educational standards and procedures. He noted that the total number of students taking the exams across the governorate reached 483,644, including 438,092 in basic education and 45,552 in secondary education.
In Bilad Al-Rus District, the Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Fares Al-Kahali, along with the Director of Human Resources at the Governorate Office, Abdulkarim Al-Salami, the District Director, Saleh Naji, Deputy Head of the Education Sector in the Governorate, Ali Thabit, and the District Education Official, Mutahar Al-Zowar, inaugurated the exams in several schools. They inspected the progress of exams, commending the commitment of both teachers and students.
Meanwhile, in the districts of Sa'fan, Manakha, Khawlan, Al-Tiyal, Bani Dhibyan, Al-Haimatayn (internal and external), Al-Husn, Hamdan, and Nihm, district directors inspected the examination process in local schools and urged collective efforts for its success. They praised the resilience of educational staff and their dedication to ensuring the continuation of education leading up to the examination phase.
