Badbadah: The Subcommittee for Summer Activities, Courses, General Mobilization in Badbadah and Rahabah districts of Marib Governorate launched the summer activities and courses for the year 1447 AH under the slogan 'Knowledge and Jihad.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch in Badbadah district was attended by local and mobilization leaders, including the district's mobilization official, Naif Sabr, the local secretary Ali Al-Hayyi, the Director of Human Resources at the governorate's Education Office, Bashir Al-Thabti, the district Education Office director, Ali Siraj, the principal of Imam Ali Abdullah Tamim School, and cultural activist Saleh Al-Thabti. They highlighted that the summer courses include lessons, programs, and activities aimed at enhancing intellectual, cultural, and social capacities, as well as broadening mental horizons.
They emphasized the importance of reading and memorizing the Holy Quran and providing students with Quranic knowledge, sciences, and developing skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
In Rahabah district, the summer course activities were inaugurated with an educational event where the Deputy General Mobilization Officer for the Southern Sector, Muhammad Al-Buraihi, the cultural mobilization official for the Southern Sector, Majid Al-Hamzi, and the district's mobilization officer, Abid Al-Imad, stressed the significance of summer courses in keeping children safe from neglect and in preparing a generation capable of meeting the demands of the present and future.
Speakers also pointed out the importance of combined efforts from both official authorities and the community to ensure the success of summer course activities and achieve their goal of building an aware generation equipped with knowledge, learning, and Quranic culture.
