Launching Distribution of Zakat al-Fitr and Cash Assistance to Poor and Needy in Al-Dhale

Al-Dhale: The office of the General Authority of Zakat in Al-Dhale Governorate has initiated a project aimed at distributing Zakat al-Fitr and providing cash assistance to impoverished and needy residents within the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Hussein Al-Madhaji emphasized the significance of this initiative in enhancing the living standards of the underprivileged population and easing their difficulties. He commended the General Authority of Zakat for their dedicated efforts in gathering and distributing resources in alignment with Sharia banks.

Additionally, Director of the Zakat Office, Ahmed Al-Dhahyani, stated that a total of 11,374 families across the governorate's directorates are eligible to receive Zakat al-Fitr. The total disbursement amounts to 227,480,000 riyals, with the distribution facilitated through quick transfer systems to ensure efficient delivery of the cash assistance to beneficiaries.
