Sana'a: Ibb University today launched selection exams for students competing for medical seats in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Faculty of Dentistry for the 1448 AH academic year. During the launch, University President Dr. Nasser Al-Hujaili affirmed that the procedures adopted in the selection process are based on precise standards that ensure fairness and transparency in evaluation. He noted that these measures contribute to selecting the most qualified students for admission to medical specializations, thereby enhancing the quality of academic intake and positively reflecting on the standard of graduates prepared to serve the health and medical sectors.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Hujaili explained that the university is committed to applying modern electronic systems across all stages of selection, correction, and result announcement, in a way that ensures accuracy and objectivity and strengthens public confidence in admission and registration processes, in line with quality requirements and academic accreditation standards. Dr. Al-Hujaili further pointed out that competition for medical seats reflects the growing public trust in the academic programs offered by Ibb University, stressing that the development of medical and health education is a strategic priority aimed at supplying the labor market with qualified professionals equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to improving healthcare services.
For his part, Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Ahmed Abu Lahoum confirmed that the electronic grading and control processes are being implemented according to a precise technical and administrative plan, under direct supervision of specialized committees, ensuring the speed and accuracy of results in preparation for announcing preliminary results via the university's official website and media platforms. He added that the university has mobilized its human and technical resources to ensure the success of the selection process and to provide an appropriate organizational environment for applicants, reflecting its commitment to delivering efficient, transparent admission and registration services that meet the aspirations of students and their parents.
