Sana'a: The Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development organized a protest on Saturday to condemn the Americans and Zionists for their desecration of the Holy Quran.

According to Yemen News Agency, a statement issued by the protesters, who included Deputy Minister Nasser al-Mahdhar and Undersecretary Ahmed al-Haj, indicated that the desecration of the Holy Quran reflects the intense animosity and hatred that the Americans and Zionists harbor towards the Holy Quran, which is the most sacred of Muslim texts.

The statement further noted that the repeated and deliberate desecration of the Holy Quran reveals their profound fear of this divine book, which has exposed the true nature of the Americans and Zionists and revealed their plans and methods. They are fighting it because it is the divine guidance capable of building a strong and civilized nation that can confront them and defeat their diabolical schemes.

The statement condemned in the strongest terms the repeated insults to the Holy Quran by the enemies of God, the Americans and the Zionists, as well as the almost daily desecration of the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque by the criminal Zionists.

It called upon all the peoples of the Arab and Islamic world to organize widespread campaigns to boycott American and Israeli goods, and to hold million-person marches in every capital and city of the Arab and Islamic world to denounce the repeated insults to the Holy Quran and the desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque, and to show support for Gaza and Palestine.

The statement affirmed its unwavering support for Gaza and its commitment to working towards the liberation of the blessed land of Palestine from the defilement of the occupying Zionists. It also commended the strong stances of the brothers in Hezbollah against the temporary Zionist entity.

Furthermore, it affirmed the right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to respond to all unjust and illegitimate aggressions perpetrated by the tyrants of the earth, America and Israel.

He called on local authorities in the capital and governorates to participate in demonstrations and sit-ins in support of the Holy Quran and to reaffirm their unwavering stance in support of al-Aqsa Mosque and the oppressed Palestinian people, as well as to emphasize their high level of preparedness for any developments or escalations by America and Israel against the Muslim world.
