Sanaa: The executive committee for summer activities, courses, and mobilization in Ma'in district of the Capital Secretariat organized today the closing ceremony for summer activities and courses in Al Da'iri neighborhood under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad".
According to Yemen News Agency, the closing ceremony was attended by the head of the Planning and Finance Committee in the district, Faisal Al Shaqaqi, the director of the Ma'in educational district, Osama Al Wajeeh, the mobilization official in Al Da'iri neighborhood, Abdulwahab Al Habishi, educational leaders, a number of directors and teachers of summer courses, social figures, and parents. The event featured numerous cultural, chanting, and folkloric segments presented by the students.
The diverse segments reflected the skills and knowledge the students acquired during the summer study period, and the extent of their benefit from the activities and programs of the summer courses in various fields. Cultural activist Dhaifullah Al Jaradi emphasized the importance of summer courses in building a learned generation fortified with knowledge, learning, faith-based values and morals, and Quranic culture. He affirmed that these courses represent an important educational tributary that contributes to investing students' time in ways that benefit them and enhance their awareness and belonging. He explained that summer courses have become an effective educational and pedagogical space for refining students' talents and developing their scientific, cultural, and creative abilities, praising the efforts of the educational and administrative staff who made great efforts to ensure the success of various programs and activities.
The director of the Ma'in educational district praised the organizational and educational level witnessed by the summer schools in Al Da'iri neighborhood, appreciating the role of teachers and school administrations in providing purposeful educational and pedagogical programs that contributed to raising the level of students and developing their skills. The closing ceremony included honoring distinguished and outstanding students in the summer courses, and certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts were distributed to students and teachers in appreciation of their efforts, interaction, and excellence.
