Lahj: The local authority and public mobilization in Lahj Governorate organized an evening event commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the event emphasized the importance of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and highlighting the values of justice, courage, wisdom, and support for the oppressed that he embodied. These values have remained present in the popular consciousness and religious culture of Yemeni society throughout various historical periods. They noted that Yemenis have consistently commemorated this anniversary, recalling the stances and noble character of Imam Ali, and drawing inspiration from the lessons and wisdom of his life, which embodied a unique model of leadership based on justice, fairness, and the defense of the nation's causes.

The evening, attended by the district director, Wahid al-Khadir, the governorate's public mobilization officer, Jamil al-Sufi, the head of the guidance sector, the director general of community initiatives, the district security director, directors of executive offices, mobilization officials, and prominent community figures, included the recitation of expressive poems.
