Sana'a: The Traffic Police organized a workshop today for directors of automated issuance and directors of traffic centers in all free governorates on developing and improving the quality of traffic services provided to the public. The workshop addressed faith-based and ethical values, the importance of invoking responsibility in performing public duties and serving the community, and enhancing the principles of discipline and commitment in institutional work and serving citizens.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, affirmed that the leadership of the Ministry of Interior is dedicated to advancing institutional performance and elevating the level of services offered to citizens. He emphasized that this workshop is part of a broader plan to enhance traffic operations and improve service quality across various traffic departments and centers.
He noted that developing traffic work is a shared responsibility that requires concerted efforts by all and working as one team, to ensure facilitating procedures for citizens and improving the quality of services provided to them, according to modern professional and administrative foundations that contribute to enhancing discipline and raising performance efficiency. Major General Al-Barashi mentioned that the Traffic Police continues to implement training and development programs for traffic cadres, which will positively reflect on the level of services provided to the public and contribute to addressing the challenges facing traffic work.
The workshop witnessed extensive discussions by directors of automated issuance and directors of traffic centers, reviewing the reality of traffic services provided to the public and ways to develop them, and working to simplify procedures and improve the level of performance. It concluded with a set of recommendations to shorten lengthy routine procedures, ensuring facilitation of transaction completion, good dealing with service seekers, creating new departments for public service, and other decisions aimed at improving the level of access to traffic services and expanding the launch of electronic programs and applications.
At the conclusion of the workshop, attended by deputies of the Director of Traffic Police and a number of traffic leaders and cadres, distinguished cadres in automated issuance departments and traffic centers were honored in appreciation of their efforts in improving performance and raising the level of traffic services.
