Germany: Mahweet governorate's sub-committee for summer activities, programs, and public mobilization held a closing ceremony for the summer programs in Mahweet City and Jabal districts. The ceremony was conducted under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad" and was attended by Sheikh Abdulghani Rassam, Head of the General Authority for Tribal Affairs.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabih Nasser emphasized the role of the summer programs as an educational and awareness-raising platform, aiming to equip children and youth with knowledge, Quranic culture, and develop their intellectual, creative, and athletic abilities. Nasser highlighted the programs' efforts in building a conscious and educated generation capable of contributing to society and nation-building. He praised the dedication of educational and youth personnel in ensuring the success of these programs.
The Deputy Minister pointed out that the successful conclusion of the courses was evident through the wide participation and positive interaction of students. The knowledge and skills acquired during these programs have strengthened students' spirit of cooperation, discipline, and national belonging. Nasser reiterated the Ministry's commitment to supporting youth and sports activities that help discover talents and develop creative energies among young people.
The Director-General of the Provincial Youth and Sports Office stated that the conclusion of the summer courses symbolizes resilience and awareness in facing challenges. He noted the significant community engagement and participation, which reflect a commitment to developing the capabilities of young people and instilling beneficial culture and knowledge. He underscored the importance of contributing to community service and fostering a culture of resilience and sacrifice.
