Sana'a: The bodies of Major Adel Ahmed Saad Soufan and Major Ghassan Saleh Hassan Raziq were laid to rest in Bani Hashish District, Sana'a Governorate, on Monday. The two were killed while performing their duties in defense of the homeland.
According to Yemen News Agency, mourners praised the sacrifices made by the two martyrs and vowed to follow their path in confronting any aggression against Yemen and its sovereignty. The burial ceremonies were marked by the presence of local, military, and security officials, as well as social figures, highlighting the significance of their contributions to the nation.
Major Soufan was laid to rest in the Martyrs' Cemetery in Al-Malaka village after prayers at the Grand Mosque. Similarly, Major Raziq was buried in the Martyrs' Cemetery in Al-Sharafa following prayers at Al-Jabana. The ceremonies served as a solemn reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by those defending the country.
