Amran: The Development Planning Committee in Amran Governorate approved the executive plan projects for the year 1448 AH during a meeting chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Ja'man.
According to Yemen News Agency, the plan encompasses a range of service, development, and investment projects designed to enhance basic community services and achieve sustainable development throughout the governorate's districts. The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor Amin Farras and Head of the Local Council Services Committee Ahmed Al-Siddiq, who reviewed the proposed project matrix and discussed priorities and guidelines for preparing the local authority's project plan for the years 1448-1449 AH.
The discussions focused on aligning the plan's contents with general leadership directives to ensure that resources are directed toward priority projects, thereby improving basic and development services and strengthening institutional performance efficiency. Governor Ja'man emphasized the importance of crafting a realistic development plan based on community needs and current conditions, underscoring the necessity for projects to be grounded in field indicators and studies.
Governor Ja'man highlighted the significance of focusing on evaluating and executing investment program projects in the coming phase, particularly those related to education, road construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation across the governorate's districts. These projects are crucial for bolstering local development and infrastructure, supporting community initiatives, and completing stalled projects.
He further stated that the success of development plans hinges on the integration of efforts among local authorities, executive offices, and the community. Working in a spirit of responsibility and effective partnership is essential to ensure efficient project implementation and genuine development that meets citizens' aspirations and enhances living standards. The governor reaffirmed the local authority's commitment to executing essential service projects for citizens and strengthening oversight and evaluation of projects across districts.
