Mahweet: A cultural and commemorative event was staged marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (Al Mawlid al-Nabawi) by the local authority, Cleaning and Improvement Fund, and the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in Mahweet province.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Governor Hunayn Qutaina emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's life and promoting values of mercy, tolerance, justice, charity, solidarity, and social cooperation. He encouraged the translation of these values into practical community initiatives, including supporting vulnerable groups, strengthening social cohesion, and promoting cooperation and public service.
Qutaina also urged residents to enhance national unity, social solidarity, and collective responsibility in addressing challenges facing the country.
