Mahweet: The Women's Sector in the Shibam Kawkaban district of Mahweet governorate organized a commemorative event on Monday to honor the martyrdom of Imam Zaid, adopting the slogan "Insight and Jihad."
According to Yemen News Agency, the event's speakers emphasized its significance as an occasion for spiritual and cultural mobilization, aimed at enhancing national awareness and instilling values of dignity and honor in the face of contemporary tyrants.
The discourse during the event highlighted Imam Zaid's revolution as a lasting example against injustice and deviation. The speakers stressed the importance of learning from his life, particularly his advocacy for good, opposition to evil, and courageous confrontation of oppressors.
Further discussions at the event addressed the brutal crimes and massacres committed by the Zionist enemy against Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied territories. The speakers asserted that these violations unveil the falsehood of claims made by the international community.
The Women's Sector strongly condemned the silence from Arab regimes and the complicity of human rights organizations, urging free peoples to meet their historical responsibilities by supporting the oppressed Palestinian population.
They concluded by affirming that following Imam Zaid's path is the conscious and optimal choice for the nation in confronting global injustice and occupation.
