Taiz: Al-Hikma and Science and Technology Universities in Taiz province organized a march and military maneuver on Thursday for graduates of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” courses. These courses, coordinated by the University Student Forum alongside provincial mobilization efforts, aim to support the Palestinians and prepare for potential aggression from American, Zionist, and British forces.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event is part of the “Promised Day and Holy Jihad” battle initiative. During the event, Taiz acting governor Ahmed Amin Al-Masawi expressed pride in the graduates who have acquired military and combat skills to face emergencies. Al-Masawi highlighted the release of thousands of prisoners from Israeli occupation, urging global support for resistance until Palestinian territories are liberated.
He emphasized the continuation of the path of martyrs, stating that victory is near and the obligation of jihad remains active. Participants of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” courses reiterated their readiness to confront any escalation from perceived enemies, asserting that the Palestinian cause is central to the Arab and Islamic nations, especially Yemen.
The march and maneuver saw attendance from notable figures, including Sheikh Ali Mohsen Al-Matri of the Yemen Alama League, Brigadier General Ali Al-Mutawakel, commander of the 170th Air Defense Brigade, and Mohammed Al-Washli, head of the planning sector in the province, along with academics and military leaders.
