Marib: Mass rallies were held across districts of Marib governorate after Friday prayers, condemning what participants described as repeated Zionist-American insults against the Holy Quran and Islamic sanctities. Participants chanted slogans expressing anger over what they described as an attack on one of Islam's most sacred symbols, stressing that such acts constitute a direct targeting of religious and human values and an attempt to undermine the identity and fundamental principles of the Muslim nation.

According to Yemen News Agency, the participants said adherence to the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad represents a source of steadfastness and victory, describing the alleged attack on the Quran as a grave offense requiring a firm stance and strong response from Muslims. The participants stressed that attacks on Islamic sanctities require confronting what they described as the American-Zionist project and maintaining opposition to it.

A statement issued by the rallies strongly condemned the renewed burning of copies of the Holy Quran, describing it as a deliberate targeting of Islamic sanctities and part of an ongoing campaign against Islam and Muslims. The statement also criticized what it described as the silence of Muslim scholars, governments, and peoples toward attacks on the Holy Quran, stressing the importance of returning to the Quran, honoring it, and adhering to its guidance.

The statement further expressed support for the 'siege for siege' approach and the armed forces, while calling for continued mobilization and public preparedness at various levels. It also urged broad participation in activities marking the Prophet's birthday, including decorating mosques, homes, and streets, organizing charitable initiatives, and caring for poor and needy people.

The statement reiterated that confronting insults against the Holy Quran and translating that stance into practical measures should remain among the prominent themes of activities marking the Prophet's birthday, as well as demonstrations and rallies.
