Hajjah: The Martyr Abu Abdel’s team has solidified its position at the top of Group B in the Martyrs on the Road to Quds Football Tournament held in Hajjah Governorate. The team achieved a commanding 7-0 win against the Palestine team, earning six points in the competition.
According to Yemen News Agency, the match was part of the second round of the tournament, which is organized by Al-Nasr Sports and Cultural Club under the supervision of the Governorate’s Youth and Sports Office. The goals were netted by Mohammed Al-Hamdani and Musfir Raziq, who both scored twice, alongside Naif Al-Masouri, Ismail Saad, and Mansour Al-Ahdal, who each added a goal.
The match was officiated by referee Akram Hamid, with assistance from Mu’in Bakheet and Nabil Al-Buqa’, and Khalid Al-Shaghdiri serving as the fourth official. The tournament’s schedule continues with a match between the teams of the late Mohammed Salba and Al-Ahli in Group A.
In the junior category, also within Group A, the Al-Rashid team triumphed over the Palestine team with an identical 7-0 scoreline. Adham Al-Hadrami scored three goals, Khaled Al-Sunaini added two, while Aref Al-Rasmi and Laith Al-Faqih each contributed one goal.
