Sana’a: An organizational meeting was held on Friday in Sana’a with the Technical Committee of the Second Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad Championship, chaired by Committee President, Captain Khalid Al-Nadhari, and attended by committee members as well as representatives of the ministries, authorities, and institutions participating in the tournament.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the meeting discussed the technical and organizational aspects related to the progress of the championship matches, reviewed refereeing reports, and addressed the procedures for handling submitted protests. The arrangements for completing the final rounds were also approved.
In the meeting, the Technical Committee President praised the high technical level demonstrated in the first-round matches, as well as the performance of the committees and the cooperation of the representatives of the participating entities. He emphasized that fair competition reflects the awareness of the participants and their dedication to the success of the championship.
He also highlighted the importance of adhering to the approved regulations and maintaining discipline on and off the field, ensuring the championship’s success and its dignified representation befitting the name of the Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad. He called for intensified efforts in the upcoming stage, especially as the competition enters its decisive rounds.
Committee members, Captain Essam Dreiban and Refereeing Supervisor Mohamed Naaman, addressed several technical and refereeing matters concerning the tournament, including referee performance evaluation, player registration rules, and the procedures for resolving protests in accordance with the regulations. They emphasized the commitment to applying the rules fairly and transparently, reinforcing the participating teams’ confidence and preserving the principle of equal opportunity.
