Al mahwit: Al Mahwit Governorate witnessed large-scale rallies following Friday prayers today under the slogan ‘Our Monitoring Continues and Our Readiness Is High,’ reaffirming the ongoing popular stance in support of the Palestinian people. The crowds gathered in the districts of Shibam Kawkaban, Al Tawilah, Al Rajm, Al Madinah, Al Khabt, Bani Saad, Hufash, Jabal Al Mahwit, and Malhan, in the presence of deputy governors and a number of local, executive, and security officials. Participants renewed their commitment to continuing mobilization and general preparedness, strengthening unity in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants affirmed that the continuation of rallies and mobilization activities reflects the steadfast popular position regarding the suffering of the Palestinian people and condemned the crimes committed against civilians, including children and women, as well as the ongoing blockade and obstruction of humanitarian aid. They stressed that the Yemeni people will remain at the forefront in defending the nation’s central cause, regardless of the challenges.

They underscored the importance of enhancing community awareness, raising the level of readiness across villages and sub-districts, activating community initiatives supporting general mobilization, and reinforcing the internal front. They also affirmed continued support for the fronts with manpower, financial contributions, all means necessary for resilience and steadfastness.

Participants denounced the siege and attacks against the Palestinian people and called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in halting the crimes, opening crossings, and allowing the urgent entry of humanitarian aid.

A statement issued during the Al Mahwit rallies said that Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people continue at a brutal pace. It reported that since the ceasefire on October 11, casualties have reached 618 martyrs and 1,663 wounded, bringing the cumulative toll since the beginning of the aggression to 72,082 martyrs and 171,761 wounded.

The statement also pointed to continued incursions into and desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the obstruction of humanitarian aid, which has compounded the suffering of the Palestinian people during the holy month of Ramadan. It further condemned what it described as the enemy’s ongoing aggression against Lebanon with clear American backing aimed at threatening global security and stability through what it termed criminal alliances.

The statement reaffirmed that mobilization efforts remain ongoing and that support for Gaza and Hezbollah is firm and unwavering. It noted that monitoring and tracking of American, Israeli movements in the region, and worldwide continue without interruption, and that readiness remains high to confront any escalation with a stronger response, expressing confidence in divine victory and promise.

It strongly condemned remarks attributed to the U.S. ambassador to Israel regarding alleged intentions to hand over the Middle East to the Jews, calling on Arab and Islamic nations to take to the streets to express rejection and condemnation of such plans, which it said target their dignity and freedom.

The statement stressed the necessity of boycotting American and Israeli goods as a religious and moral duty at this stage, urging active participation in charitable campaigns to support the poor and needy, assist charitable kitchens, and contribute to Ramadan communal meals.

It also called for conscious participation in the campaign ‘Today’s Seed. Tomorrow’s Palm’ by collecting date pits instead of discarding them and handing them over to the relevant authorities, which will begin field collection in neighborhoods starting tomorrow, Saturday.

The statement further urged all members of society to follow and reflect on the lectures and lessons of Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, describing them as containing important guidance and directives that serve as a roadmap for confronting the critical phase facing the nation.
