Sanaa: The summer courses football tournament, organized by the subcommittee for summer schools in cooperation with the activities department of the educational district and the Youth and Sports Office, concluded today in Al Sabeen district of the Capital Sanaa. The Martyr Al Ghumari team from the Al Qalfan neighborhood emerged victorious, clinching the tournament cup after defeating the Martyr Hassan Nasrallah team from the North Al Qadisiyah neighborhood with a score of seven goals to three in the final match.

According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament’s closing ceremony was attended by several local officials, including the district director Mohammed Al Wushli, deputy mobilization official Abbas Hilal, educational district director Taj Al Din Al Kibsi, Youth Office director Najib Bahram, head of the guidance sector Ahmed Al Siraji, and summer courses coordinator Hassan Al Sharif. The officials honored the Martyr Al Ghumari team with the tournament cup and gold medals, while the Martyr Hassan Nasrallah team was awarded silver medals for their efforts.

The tournament received praise for its level of participation from summer course students, highlighting its role in discovering and nurturing student talents. The event underscored the importance of supporting activities and programs aimed at enhancing the skills of youth and adolescents.
