Sana'a: Large protest gatherings were held across various districts of Sana'a governorate following Friday prayers under the slogan 'Our Front is One and Our Enemy is One,' expressing support for the positions and choices of the Resistance Axis.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants affirmed their solidarity with the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations, particularly the Palestinian and Lebanese causes. They also voiced support for the Yemeni armed forces and their decisions regarding actions against Israel and its allies.
During the demonstrations, participants welcomed and endorsed the statement issued by the Yemeni armed forces announcing operations targeting Israeli territory and the imposition of a comprehensive maritime blockade.
Speakers at the events described Yemen's position as a legitimate response to Israel's military actions in the Gaza Strip, including civilian casualties, restrictions on humanitarian aid, treatment of detainees, and incidents involving religious sites such as Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The gatherings also condemned ongoing Israeli enemy military operations in Lebanon and criticized renewed Israeli and U.S. aggression targeting Iran, arguing that such developments threaten regional stability and international trade routes.
A statement issued at the demonstrations declared that Yemen and the 'Axis of Resistance' share a common front and common struggle.
The statement stressed readiness to respond to any escalation and called for broader public mobilization, including renewed military training and public activities.
It expressed support for the Yemeni armed forces and allied resistance groups, praised Iran's response to recent developments, and commended the resilience of Gaza and the actions of Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon.
The statement also criticized certain Arab and Islamic governments for allowing their airspace or territories to be used in military operations by the United States and Israel, calling on the peoples of those countries to oppose such policies.
Participants reiterated that resistance, military preparedness, and continued mobilization are, in their view, the most effective means of confronting U.S. and Israeli policies, and affirmed Yemen's commitment to the principle of a unified regional struggle until their objectives are achieved.
