Dhalea: Mass rallies were held on Friday in the districts of Damt, Al Hasha, Qa'atabah, and Jabin in Dhalea province, south of Yemen, to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zaid and express support for the statement issued by the Yemeni armed forces.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rally chanted slogans denouncing what they described as the enemies of God and voiced their readiness to support all forthcoming options. They expressed support for the armed forces in the battle to end the blockade, end the aggression, and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The demonstrators affirmed their commitment to following the path of Imam Zaid in confronting oppression, preserving Yemen's religious identity, and rejecting projects of global domination. They stated that the large turnout reflected continued public awareness of Imam Zaid's legacy, his stand against injustice and tyranny, and the importance of strengthening public mobilization and resilience.
Participants also highlighted that Yemen's support for Palestine, Jerusalem, and the Palestinian resistance is deeply rooted in enduring Islamic values inspired by Imam Zaid and the Prophet's family, describing it as a long-standing resistance project. Residents of Dhalea voiced support for the leadership and the armed forces over what they described as breaking the blockade equation, pledging backing for future measures aimed at ending the Yemeni people's suffering, restoring national rights and resources, and achieving freedom and independence.
The rallies emphasized that Imam Zaid's uprising centered on adherence to the Quran and urged Muslims to draw lessons from his struggle in confronting oppression. They called on the nation to support the Palestinian cause and the Axis of Resistance, including Bahrain, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, and Yemen.
The rallies praised Iran's "bold step" in breaking the blockade on Sana'a International Airport, reaffirmed support for the Yemeni armed forces' statement, and declared that Yemen would not remain idle in the face of what it described as occupation, blockade, and conspiracies. They also reaffirmed commitment to the "unity of fronts" concept and continued coordination with allied groups in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Yemen, while announcing the continuation of general mobilization, military training programs, demonstrations, tribal gatherings, and other mobilization activities.
