Shibam kawkaban: The Women's Authority in Shibam Kawkaban District, Al Mahwit Governorate, organized a cultural event on Friday to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zaid and express support for the statement of the Yemeni Armed Forces.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants raised banners and slogans expressing steadfastness in their faith-based stance and adherence to their identity, affirming their readiness to confront challenges and conspiracies, and renewing their commitment to the path of resilience until victory is achieved.
Speeches at the event highlighted the commemoration as a spiritual and educational occasion to draw lessons from Imam Zaid's revolution against injustice and deviation, and from the values of courage, sacrifice, steadfastness, and support for the oppressed that it represented.
The speakers said Imam Zaid set a practical example in confronting tyranny and arrogance, guided by the Holy Quran, a path they said the nation needs today in facing current challenges and threats.
Participants affirmed their commitment to following Imam Zaid's approach and principles, stressing the importance of raising awareness and drawing inspiration from the meanings of sacrifice and dedication in confronting forces of domination and arrogance.
They also condemned international silence over Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinian people, reaffirming Yemen's support for the Palestinian cause and its backing of resistance forces.
They welcomed Iran's move to break the blockade imposed on Sana'a International Airport and renewed their full support for the Yemeni Armed Forces' statement, affirming that Yemen will remain steadfast in confronting occupation, blockade, and conspiracies.
