Hodeidah:Mass rallies were held across Hodeidah Governorate following Friday prayers, emphasizing ongoing general mobilization and support for the battlefronts in response to Saudi escalation and blockade.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rallies chanted calls for mobilization and urged citizens to defend the homeland. They praised the armed forces' operations against Saudi targets in retaliation for actions against the Yemeni people.
The gatherings expressed warnings to the Saudi enemy and its affiliates against further escalation and crimes, highlighting their unity under Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. They reiterated their backing of the armed forces until the country is liberated from occupation, Yemen's resources are reclaimed, and the 12-year blockade is lifted.
Participants asserted that any further Saudi escalation and attacks on civilians would provoke a broader response. They noted that blockade and starvation policies would only bolster the Yemeni people's resilience and determination to uphold their rights.
The rallies sent a message of readiness to defend the homeland and support the armed forces, maintaining the stance of responding to escalation with escalation until the blockade is lifted and Yemeni rights are secured. They emphasized that defending Yemen's resources and national assets is a legitimate right, pledging to continue mobilization and enhance preparedness for confrontation.
A statement issued at the rallies referenced a Quranic verse about responding to aggression, asserting that Yemenis have been given the opportunity to wage jihad against tyrants and criminals, particularly pointing to the United States, Israel, and their Saudi ally.
The statement accused the Saudi enemy of serving Israeli interests by punishing Yemen for its support of the Palestinian cause and Gaza's people. It claimed Saudi Arabia had intensified its aggression, targeting civilians while maintaining the blockade and attempting to subdue the population through starvation.
It reaffirmed the commitment to general mobilization and support for the army, promising continued provision of personnel, funds, and weapons until Yemeni demands are met. The statement also warned that Saudi threats to target Yemeni tribes would have severe consequences, holding Riyadh accountable for any ensuing actions.
It called on Yemen's tribes and leaders to organize stronger armed rallies in support of the army and leadership, urging public participation in events for Martyr's Day and honoring the sacrifices of martyrs' families.
