Ibb: Ibb governorate witnessed massive public rallies on Saturday held in the provincial capital and various districts under the slogan "Supporting the Armed Forces, the 'Siege for a Siege' Equation, and Exposing the Lie of Targeting Mecca." These rallies affirmed the public's stance in support of the armed forces and their absolute rejection of the distortion of facts. Participants in the rallies, attended by Governor Abdulwahid Salah, members of the Parliament and Shura Council, emphasized that the massive crowds turning out reflect the steadfastness of the public position and continued resilience in the face of challenges and escalation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants chanted slogans supporting the equation of "siege for a siege and escalation for escalation" and condemning the ongoing aggression and blockade against the Yemeni people, while reiterating their support for the armed forces and national choices in confronting hostile plots.
The crowds praised the role and sacrifices of the armed forces in protecting national sovereignty and countering escalation, renewing their mandate for the revolutionary leadership and the armed forces to adopt appropriate measures to defend Yemen and confront challenges. They viewed the promotion of allegations regarding the targeting of Mecca as an attempt to distort facts and exploit the status of Islamic holy sites for political purposes, highlighting the role of Yemenis in upholding the banner of Islam and their deep connection to Islamic causes and holy sites, rooted in a profound religious and historical legacy.
The people of the governorate affirmed the deeply rooted status of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy House in the hearts of Yemenis, condemning the media disinformation aimed at exploiting Islamic sentiment to justify the aggression and blockade against Yemen. The statement issued by the rallies expressed the Yemenis' steadfast commitment to their just cause in the face of the unjust aggression and blockade-ongoing for 12 years-and their honorable stance regarding the issues of the Islamic Ummah. Foremost among these are the defense of Islamic holy sites-specifically Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif-as well as support for the Palestinian cause and all the Ummah's righteous and just causes.
It offered immense praise, gratitude, and thanks to Allah Almighty for the great and glorious victories He has bestowed, congratulating the Leader of the Revolution and the Armed Forces on these major, historic achievements. The statement also invoked Allah's mercy for the great martyrs, a speedy recovery for the wounded, and steadfastness and success for the fighters on the front lines.
The statement emphasized that this massive Yemeni turnout serves as a defense of the honor of belonging to Islam and a rejection of the "great slander"-the lie of the century-propagated by the criminal Saudi enemy against the people of Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom. It also declared the Yemeni position regarding the enemy and those who adopted this malicious slander and blatant falsehood, which insults the sanctity of Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
It affirmed an unwavering commitment to the path of Jihad for the sake of Allah-opposing His enemies and standing with His allies-and a refusal to compromise on freedom, independence, and dignity. The statement reiterated the continuation of the battle against the criminal Saudi enemy and support for the Armed Forces in applying the equation of "blockade for blockade" and "escalation for escalation," as well as striking Saudi enemy troop concentrations until the unjust blockade is broken, all rights are restored, and the aggression and all forms of injustice are lifted from the country and its people, whatever the cost.
The statement condemned and categorically rejected the grave accusation, the "big lie," and the monstrous slander leveled by the "Qarun of the Age" and the "Horn of Satan"-the Saudi enemy-against our people, alleging that they targeted the Holy City of Mecca. It also denounced the regimes, parties, groups, and factions that seized upon and adopted this narrative-parties that do not hesitate to utter falsehoods and embrace slander out of injustice, aggression, and immorality.
It deemed this a grave crime and an unforgivable slander against our people, an affront to the honor and sanctity of our authentic affiliation with Islam-dating back to the dawn of the Message-and a deliberate attempt to malign our people. Furthermore, it viewed this as a contradiction of the Prophet's (peace be upon him and his family) words regarding the people of Yemen: "Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni." The statement asked, "Is it conceivable that those who embody faith and wisdom would target holy sites? God forbid; as the Yemeni people, we offer our very selves, souls, lives, wealth, and all we possess as a sacrifice for the Holy City of Mecca and for all Islamic holy sites."
It emphasized the natural right to respond to this transgression through all legitimate means and forms of retaliation, while mandating the leadership and the army to respond in an appropriate manner and at the right time. The statement from the rallies reaffirmed a steadfast commitment to the nation's causes-foremost among them the defense of holy sites against the plots of the enemies of God, the Zionist disbelievers, who openly declare their hostile intentions toward Mecca, Medina, and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
It also affirmed the unwavering stance of defending the Palestinian cause and all the nation's just causes, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the Axis of Jihad, Resistance, and Jerusalem-spanning Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran-alongside all the free people of the nation. The statement called upon all regimes, parties, and entities to either align with this stance or rival it in the arenas of genuine, honorable action. This would distinguish the sincere from the deceitful regarding their zeal for-and defense of-the Nation's sanctities, honor, and dignity; thereby bringing disgrace and shame upon the disbelieving enemies and the lying, slanderous hypocrites, while bestowing glory, honor, and loftiness upon the sincere, loyal, and devoted believers.
