Sa'ada: Sa'ada University on Wednesday witnessed a massive rally under the slogan 'Reviving the 21 September Revolution. and reaffirming steadfast support for Gaza,' during which participants renewed their commitment to the principles of the revolution and denounced the Zionist aggression on Gaza.
According to Yemen News Agency, the crowds chanted slogans condemning massacres, genocide, and starvation crimes against the people of Gaza, while affirming that the 21 September Revolution restored dignity to the Yemeni people, corrected the course of national decision-making, and honored the sacrifices made for freedom, sovereignty, and independence.
In his address, Saada Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad congratulated the revolutionary and political leadership on the 11th anniversary of the revolution, stressing its achievements in rejecting foreign tutelage, liberating political decision-making, and securing freedom and independence.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ali al-Ezzi, Director of Postgraduate Studies at the university, emphasized that the revolution drew a red line against any attempt to undermine Yemen's sovereignty, highlighting its recent stance in support of the oppressed in Gaza and Palestine.
A statement issued at the rally thanked Allah Almighty for granting the Yemeni people this blessed revolution and the achievements it has secured in freedom, independence, rebuilding institutions, and fostering national unity.
The statement reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, condemned any attempts to normalize or conspire against it, and denounced efforts by regional actors to protect Zionist interests.
The statement further called on Yemeni, Arab, and Islamic universities to channel research, studies, and seminars into exposing the Zionist background of U.S. policies and raising awareness in the Muslim world about the nature of the conflict and the dangers of the current stage.
