US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Marks April 9 with Numerous Atrocities Across Yemeni Governorates

Sana'a: On this day, April 9, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression committed significant acts of violence in several Yemeni governorates. The events spanned multiple years, beginning in 2015, and have resulted in numerous casualties and damage to infrastructure.

According to Yemen News Agency, on April 9, 2015, a series of airstrikes by the aggression aircraft led to the deaths of five citizens and injuries to more than 15 others in the city of Amran. The strikes targeted a mosque and various neighborhoods. Significant damage was also inflicted on water tanks and pipelines in Saada, as well as on the city's airport and gas and electricity stations. Airstrikes were reported across Sana'a, Saada, Taiz, and Shabwah, resulting in heavy casualties and destruction of property.

In 2016, airstrikes on April 9 resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens in Taiz governorate, including a tragic incident where a family of five, comprising three women and a child, was killed. The strikes also severely damaged residential areas and private properties in Taiz, Al-Jawf, and Marib governorates.

The aggression continued on April 9, 2017, with airstrikes targeting Sana'a International Airport and multiple locations in Saada and Hajjah governorates. The attacks caused significant damage to infrastructure and properties, as well as numerous civilian casualties.

On April 9, 2018, airstrikes in Taiz and Saada governorates led to the death of 12 citizens, including women and children from a single family, and caused injuries to several others. The attacks also targeted educational facilities, injuring several female students in Saada.

In 2019, artillery and missile shelling by mercenaries in Al-Hodeida governorate resulted in damage to properties and civilian areas. The aggression continued with multiple airstrikes on various districts, causing further destruction and loss of life.

The following year, on April 9, 2020, artillery shelling and airstrikes by the aggression aircraft in Hajjah, Amran, and other governorates resulted in the deaths of two citizens and extensive damage to homes and infrastructure.

On April 9, 2021, airstrikes and artillery shelling in Saada and other governorates resulted in the death of a citizen and significant damage to residential areas. The attacks continued across Al-Bayda, Marib, and Al-Jawf governorates, causing further destruction.

The violence persisted on April 9, 2022, with artillery shelling and airstrikes leading to the deaths of two citizens and injuries to three others in Saada governorate. The attacks targeted residential and civilian areas, causing widespread damage.

Most recently, on April 9, 2023, spy aircraft launched several airstrikes in Al-Hodeida governorate, and mercenaries shelled multiple areas, establishing combat fortifications in the process. The continued aggression has resulted in ongoing hardship and devastation for the people of Yemen.
