Taiz: The Great Square at Mawiyah Junction in Taiz and the Martyr Leader Square in Maqbanah district, Taiz governorate, were filled on Tuesday with light and expressions of loyalty as large crowds from Taiz and Lahj governorates gathered to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, despite heavy rain that continued for a full hour, residents of the two governorates gathered in a faith-filled atmosphere, honoring the religious rites and venerating and glorifying the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
During the two massive events, attended by Lahj governor Ahmed Jreib, Acting Taiz governor Ahmed Al-Masawa, Ansarullah Political Bureau member Mahmoud Al-Junaid, Supreme Judicial Council member and Taiz governorate Mufti Judge Alawi bin Aqeel, several members of Parliament and Shura Council, Deputy Ministers of Finance Nasser Al-Hamdani and Youth and Sports Nabih Nasser, Taiz first undersecretary Mohammed Al-Khalidi, and undersecretaries of Taiz and Lahj, the crowds presented an authentic display of loyalty on the occasion of the birth of the Best of Creation. They affirmed their commitment to emulating his enlightened life and adhering to his path in steadfastness, confronting the forces of global arrogance, supporting truth, and standing with the oppressed.
The Muhammadan crowds chanted the 'Declaration of Disavowal of the Enemies of Allah', while green flags were raised in expression of joy and celebration. Loud chants of Allahu Akbar filled the squares in praise and thanks to Allah Almighty for the blessing of guidance bestowed upon humanity through the birth of the Best of Mankind, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. The crowds affirmed their continued mobilization and readiness to confront the forces of global arrogance.
Residents of the two governorates affirmed that this massive popular outpouring and faith-based mobilization on the anniversary of the birth of the Light and Guidance represented a blow to the enemies' calculations and their malicious conspiracies, as well as a renewal of the pledge and covenant with the Prophet and the leader of the march of truth.
They said that commemorating the Prophet, the bestowed mercy, constitutes a religious and spiritual occasion for general mobilization, raising morale, and increasing readiness to continue the sacred jihad and reinforce the fronts, while standing with courage and bravery against the arrogance of the Saudi enemy and continuing to support the causes of the Muslim nation. They affirmed that the massive public turnout to commemorate this great religious occasion embodies a distinguished presence and a deep emotional attachment to the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
They also affirmed to the entire world that attempts to target and insult the Prophet Muhammad would only increase the Yemeni people's adherence to his path, determination to commemorate his blessed birthday, and resolve to deepen love for him in people's hearts. They said the Prophet's birthday is a spiritual occasion for drawing strength from Prophetic values and a testament to the deep bond with the Prophet of the Muslim nation.
The two massive events featured an operetta entitled 'The Greatest Rank,' a poem by poet Muadh Al-Junaid, traditional Taiz tawashih chants, as well as devotional songs and folkloric performances, all reflecting the great status of the noble Prophet.
