Meeting at Anti-Corruption Authority Discusses Priority Issues, Topics

Sanaa: A meeting at the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption, chaired by the Vice Head of the Authority, Redan Al-Mutawakkil, discussed today priority topics and issues.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by members of the Authority, including Engineer Hareth Al-Omari and Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Kumaim, the Secretary-General of the Authority, Ahmed Atef, the Assistant Secretary-General, Saddam Al-Ra'i, the Head of the Technical Office, Ammar Al-Shaybani, and the heads of specialized departments and their assistants. The attendees reviewed the level of implementation of the Ramadan program for the Authority's cadres and prepared for an awareness and educational event commemorating the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali and the Great Battle of Badr.

The meeting also addressed priority issues regarding the tasks of the change and construction phase in the field of combating corruption, considering the leadership's directives. A significant focus was on the file related to recovering funds and the procedures undertaken by the Recovery Committee in this area.

The meeting concluded with the approval of preparing a report on all procedures undertaken regarding the recovery file. It emphasized the importance of activating joint coordination committees between the Authority and various revenue and service entities.
