Sana'a: An expanded meeting held today at the Ministry of Local and Rural Administration, with a number of leaders, school principals, and educators from Al-Thawrah District in the Capital Secretariat, discussed aspects related to monitoring the implementation of the Ramadan program and preparing for enrollment in summer centers.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by the Director of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Local and Rural Administration, Jamal Al-Alawi, the District Director, Aqeel Al-Saqqaf, the Director of the Al-Thawrah Educational Zone, Mohammed Salah al-Din, and several school principals, educators, and educational guidance cadres. The discussion focused on the importance of Ramadan activities and the pivotal role of the educational sector in this context.
The gathering urged community members and students to participate in Quranic circles and the Ramadan program in mosques. It also emphasized the importance of student enrollment in summer centers to reinforce faith identity and foster a generation that adheres to the Quranic approach.
The meeting highlighted that enrolling in summer centers would contribute to educating and nurturing generations across various fields, preparing them to become a fundamental pillar in the nation's advancement.
Discussions also covered the crucial role of Ramadan activities and summer courses in shielding the younger generation from the dangers posed by global adversaries, particularly global Zionism. These entities are perceived as threats seeking to undermine values and morals, corrupt society, and disrupt the system of sound concepts, ideas, and cultures.
The meeting underscored the collective responsibility to protect the rising generation from destructive and dark ideas, and emphasized the need to fortify youth with beneficial knowledge and awareness. This, it was noted, would broaden their perceptions and affirm the importance of encouraging children to enroll in summer centers, especially in an era marked by diverse means of corruption and misleading campaigns targeting the youth.
