Sana'a: Two charity kitchens and a charitable bakery were inaugurated on Sunday in the Bani Hushaysh District of the Sana'a Governorate, targeting 850 beneficiaries with support from neighborhood residents and philanthropists.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Sarf 'Uzlah, a charitable bakery was opened in Al-Ta'meen neighborhood, serving 150 beneficiaries. In Ghul Al-Sheikh Al-Gharbi neighborhood, a charity kitchen was inaugurated to support 400 cases, in addition to another charity kitchen in Dhafar neighborhood of Sa'wan 'Uzlah benefiting 300 people.
During the inauguration, the District Director Rajeh Al-Hanami and the Director of Initiatives in the district, Saif Al-Saqqa, listened to an explanation from the supervisors of the two kitchens and the bakery, as well as local residents, about their activities in providing bread and meals to the most vulnerable families in the two 'uzlahs during the holy month of Ramadan.
The District Director praised the initiative, noting that it contributes to strengthening the values of solidarity, benevolence, and cooperation among community members. He also called on well-off individuals to support and adopt such charitable projects that address the needs of poor and needy families, especially during the holy month.
