Sana'a: A meeting held on Sunday in Sana'a, chaired by the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Capital Secretariat, Ali Al-Hadi, discussed ways to address the production challenges facing mineral water factories.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by the Vice Chairman of the Chamber, Mohammed Salah, and the Executive Director, Adel Al-Kholani, reviewed obstacles related to production inputs in this strategic sector and explored ways to secure them at competitive and sustainable prices. It also examined existing issues with a number of relevant authorities and explored fair solutions to ensure the continuity of national production with high efficiency.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board affirmed the Chamber's commitment to removing all difficulties facing local manufacturers, noting that the Chamber is working seriously to strengthen partnerships with government bodies in order to protect national investments.
For his part, the Head of the Mineral Water Manufacturers Sector, Saleh Al-Shujaa, outlined the key on-the-ground challenges facing factories, calling for the necessary incentives to be provided to manufacturers and for obstacles to be removed, while stressing the importance of supporting the growth of this sector.
The meeting approved the submission of a comprehensive matrix of demands and proposals to be presented to the relevant authorities, emphasizing the priority of supporting national industry and ensuring the availability of its basic inputs.
