Mahweet: The Secretary-General of Mahweet governorate Local Council, Dr. Ali al-Zaykum, inaugurated the Ain Mawhiba water fountain rehabilitation project, which has been implemented by the Bazara'a Charitable Foundation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project's first phase includes the installation of a solar power system, rehabilitation of the main reservoir, construction of protective shelters, and the organization of water distribution through designated taps. These efforts aim to improve the sustainability of water service for the residents.
Officials have praised the project as an important addition to water services in the area. They have also called for continued community support to sustain vital water and sanitation initiatives.
