Ibb: A meeting in Ibb Province, chaired by Governor Abdul Wahid Salah, focused on the implementation of a plan to tackle traffic jams and organize the flow of vehicles within the province’s central streets.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting featured participation from Deputy Governor Harith Al-Maliki, Works Sector Officer Engineer Ibrahim Al-Shami, and Directors of the Land Transport Affairs Regulatory Authority Noman Al-Darwani, Cleanliness Fund Bilal Al-Dar, Al-Dhar Directorate Fadl Zaid, and Captain Mohammed Al-Haqi from the Manpower and Movements of the Traffic Department. The assembly examined strategies to address traffic congestion, organize bus routes on Al-Adin and Taiz streets, and enforce compliance among bus operators with designated traffic lines.
Governor Salah emphasized the necessity of implementing the approved plan to enhance traffic flow, particularly in areas prone to congestion. He affirmed the province’s leadership’s support for the committee’s efforts to organize markets, ease traffic, and eliminate violations. Salah highlighted the importance of collaboration among all relevant parties, including the Transportation and Works Regulatory Authority and the Cleanliness and Traffic Fund, to achieve the objectives set forth.
