Meeting in Sana’a Focuses on Enhancing Water Resources Services

Sana'a: A meeting in the capital Sana'a, chaired by Chairman of the General Authority for Water Resources and Facilities Hadi Qara'a, on Tuesday discussed a comprehensive matrix for improving and developing the authority's services.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting brought together the national team for simplifying procedures and improving service quality, affiliated with the Prime Minister's Office, along with the authority's internal service development team. Discussions focused on proposed solutions to enhance service delivery in line with national recommendations for streamlining procedures and improving transaction efficiency.

Participants reviewed the current state of services provided by the authority, mechanisms for improving performance, and responsiveness to public feedback. The discussions were framed within a phased evaluation model: 'Foundation,' 'Development,' and 'Excellence.'

The meeting also examined proposed improvement measures across departments, analyzing existing conditions, service availability, readiness, and compliance with organizational, administrative, and technical standards, while identifying priorities for development.

Hadi Qara'a emphasized that the service improvement matrix is a key priority within the authority's 1448 AH plan, describing it as a strategic initiative to simplify procedures and deliver higher-quality services.

He affirmed the authority's commitment to implementing the plan, enhancing performance, and providing more comprehensive and responsive services, while expressing readiness to cooperate with the national team to achieve these goals.

The national team, in turn, praised the authority's cooperation in facilitating its mission to provide technical support to public institutions, helping them upgrade service delivery systems, simplify procedures, and improve customer service centers through updated processes, tools, and staff training.
