Saada: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted the continuation of scattered thunderstorms and rainfall across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center indicates that thunderstorms with varying intensity are expected to occur in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Sana'a, Al Mahwit, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, and Al Hodeida. Additionally, scattered rain accompanied by thunder is possible over western Al Jawf and Marib, Al Bayda, Al Dhale'a, and the highlands of Lahj and Abyan.
The center has issued warnings to citizens about the potential for flash floods in ravines and valleys, advising against being present in these areas or attempting to cross them during and after rainfall. There is also a warning about strong downdrafts and thunderstorms, with advice to avoid proximity to electrical poles, certain places, and tall trees.
Further warnings include the risk of rockfalls, mudslides, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountainous slopes due to rainfall and fog formation.
