Sana'a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast cold and extremely cold weather in the mountainous regions over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicates that extremely cold weather is expected during the night and early morning hours in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, the highlands of Abyan, Lahj, Al-Dhale'a, Ibb, southern Ma'rib, and western Al-Jawf, with potential frost formation in some areas.
Cold weather is also anticipated in the highlands of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Shabwah, and Hadramawt. The center has issued warnings to residents of the mountainous regions and those traveling to these areas about the impending cold and extremely cold conditions, advising particular caution for the elderly, children, the sick, and those working during the night and early morning hours.
Additionally, the center has urged farmers to take necessary precautions to protect their crops, and called on livestock herders, beekeepers, and poultry farmers to ensure their animals are sheltered in warm places.
